Terms and conditions

Convenience translation of the German general terms for CleanDrive-Valet's valet parking services at Düsseldorf Airport.

This English text is provided for convenience. The complete German version is authoritative. Open the German version.

1. Scope and provider

These terms apply to valet parking and expressly agreed extras supplied by Ahmed Dhib, trading as CleanDrive-Valet. Individual agreements in the booking confirmation take precedence.

2. Booking offer and formation of contract

By clicking “Book with obligation to pay”, the customer submits a binding offer for the services and total shown in the final review. The automatic receipt only confirms that the offer was received. A contract is formed when CleanDrive-Valet accepts the offer by sending a booking confirmation; the customer does not need to accept again. A confirmation containing materially different terms is a new offer from CleanDrive-Valet.

3. Valet service

The customer hands over the vehicle and key at the agreed meeting point. CleanDrive-Valet may drive the vehicle as required for handover, parking, relocation and return. Operational journeys of up to 70 km in total are authorised where necessary for these purposes.

4. Parking and cleaning

The vehicle is parked outdoors or under cover according to the confirmed booking. Interior cleaning (€50.00) or exterior cleaning (€40.00) is supplied only when expressly selected and confirmed.

5. Customer obligations and valuables

The customer must provide accurate vehicle and travel information, disclose relevant defects or special features, and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and legally insured. Cash, jewellery, documents, electronics and other valuables should be removed. CleanDrive-Valet is liable for items left in the vehicle only under the statutory requirements; the customer must prove their presence, value and any attributable loss.

6. Prices, payment and extension

The total prominently displayed before submission applies. The customer chooses cash or bank transfer; payment details are included in the booking confirmation. A later extension must be notified immediately and is subject to capacity. Each additional parking day begun after the confirmed return time, up to a further 24 hours, costs €10.00.

7. Cancellation

A booking offer not yet accepted by CleanDrive-Valet may be withdrawn free of charge until the booking confirmation is received. A confirmed booking may be cancelled free of charge in text form up to 24 hours before the confirmed handover time. Mandatory statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

8. Vehicle return and damage

Where possible, both parties should inspect the vehicle on handover and return and record visible issues. Apparent damage should be reported immediately. Later reporting does not automatically exclude statutory claims, but the customer bears the statutory burden of proving that the damage occurred while the vehicle was in CleanDrive-Valet’s custody.

9. Liability

CleanDrive-Valet has unlimited liability for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, limb or health, and where mandatory law applies. For slightly negligent breach of essential contractual duties, liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical of the contract. Statutory provisions and any mandatory liability remain unaffected.

10. Insurance, law and severability

The vehicle’s own legally required motor insurance remains applicable during authorised driving. CleanDrive-Valet does not provide an additional motor policy unless expressly agreed. German law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protection in their country of residence. Invalid individual clauses do not affect the remaining terms.
